Tenant Forum

The Tenant Forum is a body of people like you who are residents of Vectis Housing. Its function is to meet about four or five times a year for a chat about anything that members feel is of interest to the other members, or, more importantly perhaps, about ways in which members can influence the services provided by the Association. This is a two way informal exchange of views and information. We are kept updated with current situations within our housing association.

Other benefits are that any resident can if they wish let their Forum Representative know of any problem or suggestion they wish to put forward, but may be unable to get to the office, or feel nervous about putting forward their problem or suggestion themselves.

The Forum organised the second Vectis HA gardening competition in 2009.

The Forum last met in April 2010, and discussed ways in which the Association can meet the immediate requirements of the new regulatory framework recently introduced by the Tenant Services Authority. As a consequence of this a letter is to be circulated to all tenants asking for their opinions on the way forward with this. SEE Service Offer Information

Finally, the Forum is always looking for others to join them, (you do not need special qualifications ) even if your area has a representative already. There are areas that at this moment do not have a representative. It does matter.... make it matter to you
