Steve having lived on the Island all his life, can officially be considered a 'Caulk Head'. On getting married, he and his wife moved to Ryde . He has a daughter, two cats and two guinea pigs and a "son-in-law to be" who gets the blame for anything that goes wrong in the household.

Steve started his working career following a brief spell in the army. He then worked in the motor industry as a trainee car mechanic, and after a few years became Service Manager for the company. Wanting a complete career change, Steve then went into the building industry, firstly as a self-employed builder and later as a Service Manager for a double glazing company on the
Island.

Coastal rowing is a hobby in which Steve has a great interest and recently has taken up kayaking. When not on (or occasionally in) the water, he loves walking or spending time in his shed .......
