Team Vectis - Who we are and what we do

The Staff

Officers of the Association are paid members of staff, each of whom have specific roles and responsibilities within the organisation.

The most important point to bear in mind however is that this is a team, working together and for each other in order to provide the best possible service to residents and the wider community.

All staff receive training relevant to their posts. Because of the team approach, each has a basic understanding of all aspects of the business of which they are part.

The Association is a strong supporter of staff development and has been awarded and re-accredited with, Investor in People status as evidence of such commitment. At the present time two members are embarking upon vocational training courses.

Officers regularly participate on working groups which have been set up to address all aspects of housing related issues in the locality of the Island. The Isle of Wight Council produces a Housing Strategy document to which, the staff of Vectis makes a valuable contribution through their respective appointments to these bodies.

There are currently six full-time, and three part-time, employees.
